Mouse Eye Tracking Version 3 has been released!

We’re excited to announce the release of Mouse Eye Tracking version 3. New features include:

Link Analysis

When viewing heat maps and mouse tracking in the Management Console, you’ll notice certain links have a blue dashed border with a light switch icon. Hover over this area to reveal data on that link. Use this information to test the effectiveness of links, navigation and buttons on your web pages.

Browser Sizes

From the Management Console ‘Analysis Mode’ drop down menu, select ‘Browser Sizes’. This mode allows you to see how visitors are viewing your webpages at different resolutions, highlighting the 10 most popular sizes. These sizes are represented as coloured overlays, hover over them to see a tooltip of data and reveal how your webpage looks in that resolution.

Page Arrivals

Page Navigation has now been split into two modes – Page Arrivals and Page Departures – To make it easier for you to understand and visualise how visitors are flowing in and out of webpages respectively. Page Departures is the classic Page Navigation feature, revealing visitor flows out of a webpage. Page Arrivals is the reverse of this, displaying visitor flows in to a webpage. Both modes highlight the top three visitor pathways using colour coded branches of red (highest flow), orange, green and grey (lowest flow).

In addition to these changes, the Management Console and Menu are separated into two easy access slide out menus on the left and right side of the browser window, reducing clutter on the page so you can see more of your data.

To check out these new features, go to www.picnet.com.au/met and login or signup. We’re always looking for ways to improve Mouse Eye Tracking so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any feedback or queries on the new version.
